Gillian should reimburse everybody and give them a free novel. The narrator has found a ghost story online about the former family that lived in the mansion, claiming that the oldest child had the family slain and after telling that to Miles, he scoffs and tells her that Susan created that web page. The boy is mysterious, but speaks to the narrator several times to explain that he isn't the problem in the home and that it actually Susan that is the reason he keeps his door locked. I'm not usually one who loves paranormal or ghost stories, but I do love Gillian Flynn's work so I wasn't about to shy away because it's a genre I don't usually gravitate toward. So I'm left with the feeling that I'm smarter than everyone around me but that if I ever got around really smart people—people who went to universities and drank wine and spoke Latin—that they’d be bored as hell by me.

1.5 A rather steep price is wanted for this short story. Knowing what to say to people from her years of begging on the street with her mother, the narrator is a natural at pretending to be a psychic, but when a strange customer demands more of her that what she thinks she can give, the real game begins. the plot was a little lacking, but it was a short story & only 64 pages so i guess that makes sense lol.
